He graduated in mechanical engineering and industrial engineering, and he has had long-term collaborations with the largest European applied research company, Fraunhofer, as well as with dozens of innovations involving multinational and domestic firms such as VW, Mercedes, and Siemens. He is a co-founder of the company IPA Slovakia and the agricultural cooperative Agrokruh. He is involved in the development of customizable eBikes and their additive manufacturing process. He is also establishing his own Entrepreneurial University, where he connects innovators and entrepreneurs. He dedicates a lot of energy to fostering entrepreneurship in schools and has a longstanding collaboration with the Faculty of Management and Economics at UTB in Zlín. He is active within the Dobrý pastier community.

In 1992, he founded the company KOMA MODULAR s.r.o., which specializes in modular construction. Through gradual product and process innovations, the company has achieved a significant position in the Czech and European markets. Over its existence of more than twenty years, the company has received several awards; in 2010, it became the Innovation Company of the Zlín Region. In 2015, it became the supplier of the Czech Republic pavilion at the World EXPO in Milan. In the same year, it was awarded the title of the Company of the Year 2015. Now, as a group of companies under the KOMA brand, it consistently promotes the new field of modular construction.

She serves as the director of the Tomáš Baťa Foundation. She has been dedicated to studying the Bata management system and its current applications for a long time. As part of her teaching activities, she lectures on various topics related to the Bata management system. At the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín, she approaches the legacy of Baťa in a scientific manner, analyzing the possibilities of transforming Czech companies according to the Bata management system. She publishes her studies and is the author of several books. She is involved in sharing inspirational ideas of Tomáš Baťa through the Inspirace Baťa project.

She graduated from the Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administration in Karviná, specializing in Social Management. She has been focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility and Bata Management System for almost fifteen years. She serves at the Quality Management Department of VSB Technical University of Ostrava. She lectures on topics related to soft skills, human resources management and creativity. In part of her lessons, she introduces students to the ideas of Tomáš Baťa as an inspiration for the implementation of lean production methods and work efficiency in a historical and modern context.

Václav Sušeň is an active value investor, dealmaker and entrepreneur. He focuses on M&A, sustainable business value growth and corporate finance. He is an entrepreneurship coach in the Summer Entrepreneurial Camp (LPK) and an author of the LPK training “Metamorphosis – personal professional career planning boot camp” for young people from children’s homes.
