On behalf of the Congress Organizers we would like to thank you for registering for the upcoming 7th World Engineers Convention, which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, 11 – 13 October 2023.
As the Congress is drawing near, we would like to provide you with some important information.

Transport Options
How to reach Prague Congress Center
Arrival from the AirportTake the bus No. 119 towards “Nádraží Veleslavín” (METRO station). Leave the bus at the end stop and change for the METRO green line “A” the direction towards “Depo Hostivar”. You will go 7 stops to the station “Muzeum”. Change there for the METRO red line C and go to the station “Vyšehrad”. The PCC is just next to this station. Travel by public transport will take approximately 45-50 minutes.
Public transport tickets must be purchased in advance, before boarding public transport buses. Tickets are sold by the Visitor Centre, Prague Public Transit company counters at Arrival Halls, available from ticket machines located around Terminals 1 and 2 Arrival Halls and directly at bus stops. Most ticket machines at the airport accept contactless credit card payments. The ticket from airport to the PCC costs 40 Czech crowns.
A taxi ride from the airport to the PCC will take approximately 30–45 minutes and costs about 25–30 EUR.
Arrival by train
Prague Main station (Praha Hlavní nádraží) is in the city centrum and close to the conference venue (3 stops by metro line C) “Vyšehrad” station. We recommend to check https://idos.idnes.cz/en/vlakyautobusymhdvse/spojeni/
Registration
Registration desk will be placed in Prague Congress Centre, please use the entrance number 4, follow the sign WEC 2023. Registration will be located directly across from the entrance.Opening hours:

On-site registration and issue of badges will take place at self-check-in stations. You will receive your personal QR code via email before the congress on 6th October.
Please save / print the QR code as you will need it to obtain your badge.
On-site registration step by step:
- Scan your QR code at the check-in station.
- If you have paid everything properly, your name badge will be printed out automatically. Lanyards are placed next to the station. Please take only one lanyard per badge.
- If your registration is not complete, you will not be able to print the badge. In this case, please visit the registration desk.
Registration fee for WEC 2023 Congress includes:
- Entrance to Scientific Sessions and Exhibition
- Entrance to Poster Session Area
- Free ticket to Public Transportation valid within the Congress Days (11–13 October 2023) – You will be able to collect the ticket at our hostesses upon your registration.
- Free Entrance to the Opening Ceremony to be held on October 11th

How to reach Folklore Garden s.r.o. from Prague Congress Centre
Journey from the main venue Prague Congress Centre. Take the metro from station "Vyšehrad" (line C) to station "Muzeum" station. From the stop "Muzeum" you will go to Wenceslas Square. There are tram lines running halfway down Wenceslas Square. On Wenceslas Square you will find the tram station and wait for tram number 5 in the direction of "Holyně" station. From the station "Václavské náměstí" you go to the station "Hlubočepy", where you get off and walk about 200 metres.
